I’ve seen over 20 different medical providers in my life, and I’ve never had a provider pay more attention to fine detail than Dr. Nelson. She found issues for me that other providers had recently glossed over and dismissed.
Prior to seeing Dr. Nelson, my previous providers would only run 3-4 “standard” things on my annual blood work. Kirsten now runs over 20 separate blood tests quarterly as I strive to feel the best that I can. Dr Nelson has completely changed how I view healthcare and my well-being. In the past when I had aches or pains I thought I’d just have to live with it. I felt like the doctors would discount what I was going through and describing. In contrast, Dr Nelson truly listens and puts real time and energy into understanding what’s going on. She puts in the extra effort and care that you would only expect from family. Think about the best nurse you’ve ever had, the one that somehow knew exactly what you needed to be able to feel comfortable, and had the perfect mix of listening and asking questions to understand what’s going on. Now think of the best doctor you’ve had a the one that could answer all of your questions and explain it all in a way you understood.
Mix those two and that’s the kind of care you get from Dr Nelson. I know it probably sounds like I’m exaggerating but I’m not. I just think that everyone should be heard and have a provider who is an advocate for you - that’s something I didn’t have before. With Dr Nelson you’ll remember / realize that going to the doctor is “health” and “care”.

Kirsten is the best! I’ve been to numerous professionals and have never received care like this before. She truly does want to get to the root of the issue. I love that she will give you the best of both worlds when it comes to balancing holistic & western medicine. She truly cares and will listen to you thoroughly. I’ve never felt rushed with her. Before coming to Dr. Nelson, I felt like I didn’t understand what was going on with my body and my family physician would not listen to my concerns and run more than the basics for bloodwork. Meeting with Kirsten, she listened and was empathetic and walked me through what we would be doing. She ran a lot of really great blood panels on me. When she got my results she went through them in great detail and explained it all to me as well as gave me a care plan.
